Here’s my take on one of the popular shabu-shabu chain in the city.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has this Asian-zen feel with bamboo decos and green-marbled tables all around which is far different from others. I like how airy and comfortable it was when we dined, so perfect while sipping hot soup. Not to mention 1:1 boiling casserole which is super hygienic.
Food: Like any shabu shabu restaurants they have pretty vast choices of set menus of meat (beef / pork / lamb), seafood and a mix of those to order. What we got is the seafood set only because my mother wanted to skip meat. I was pretty amazed on how plenty the set was, we had fresh vegetables like pechay, cabbage, gabi, mushrooms, corn and seafoods like fish, shrimps, sea cucumber, squid and mussels plus meatballs and some noodles. We mixed the broth with egg, that made it so yummier with vegetables and seafoods. The sauce was delicious too, but I wished they had more choices.
Service: They are polite, greet you with a smile, let you sit anywhere you like and even prep the sauce for you. But I wish they had been more enthusiastic in explaining their menu.
Value: For this food set we roughly spent more than 2000 PHP, quite extravagant comparable to any shabu shabu restaurants that we’ve been in the metro.
Verdict: ❤❤❤ – Definitely going back.
