Acacia Hotel Manila

Acacia Hotel Manila, 5400 East Asia Drive corner Commerce Avenue, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang Muntinlupa City 1781

Location: Nested right in the heart of the Alabang business district, this hotel makes things easier for a quick city getaway. The hotel is most accessible to everything from two SLEX Tollgate exits, bank offices, supermarkets, malls, gasoline stations even top-notch car showrooms and most of all food hubs. It’s like having everything and anything in your door steps.

Ambiance: Hip, vibrant and chic; these are some enticing highlights we get to see and feel once we entered the hotel. We were greeted by lots of bold black-white printed chairs right in the lobby, bright-golden counters in their front desk matching with glass-gazed ceiling walls that sure gives a modern hippy and baroque-ish feel that made it look more a lavishly upgraded boutique hotel. Their viewdeck and pool in 3rd Floor is a must try and see. Clad in sexy-molded rattan sun chairs, the view deck still has the best view of Commerce Avenue during sunset. Though the main pool is more like a bigger lap pool, they still have 2 mini pools and one of them is a romantic couple’s jacuzzi. Also there’s this active beverage bar that serves cold drinks to those who’d swim or simply those who’s just lounging around.

Service: As for me and hubby, we both agreed that their service is one criteria that the hotel undoubtedly aced. Why? They offered valet parking without us requesting, picked / helped out our baggages without telling them, kept our reservations and requests correctly (they placed us in a recommended floor for the view), check in and out was a total breeze and mind you we had a bellboy all the way to our room to help us settle, and set the AC temperature. It was freaking awesome, it is fairly seldom that we get truly treated as king and queen.

Rooms: We got a Deluxe King Room at 9F facing Commerce Avenue. The room is really really spacious. Having the king-size bed placed at the end most of the room, has lots of space for a contemporary-styled dresser with a multi-hub ports for laptop charging, earphone jacks, LAN and HDMI ports, modern light-sensored cabinets and big HD-cabled television which was definitely a treat during our stay. Hubby couldn’t resist getting stuck with Basketball TV for hours because its HD. The bathroom is so chic too; cleanly tiled, cozy lighting, rainfall shower, wide clear mirror with wall-hinged circular mini vanity mirror (which I adored so much!) and marbled spacious lavatory with neatly-kept bathroom complementaries. They have this romantic tub too with working cold / hot water, which hubby and I abused for hours. But what I liked most is the contemporary-styled single-seater sofa chair with a foot stool placed right in between the bed and windows that allowed us to enjoy spectacular views at night. Hubby once said to me that it seems like (in Acacia) they have anticipated each and every need of the guests because of the amenities it has. And I think too, its like not dead worrying so much that you haven’t brought a power adapter or a LAN cable.

Sleep Quality: The bed is definitely huge and most of all it’s so white and clean. We had enough pillows (4 to be exact) and sheets smelled irresistibly good too! Sleeping quality was 5 thumbs up, we hardly woke up the next morning and missed our long planned jogging.

Value for Money: At around 5k/night (we got it 3,200 from a group buying site) with a much fashionably chic getaway place plus treated us like a king / queen even just for a night, is definitely worth it! We haven’t been in a hotel such like Acacia that topped all our criteria, has spotless, well-though amenities and super amazing service.
