Two Sundays ago, we were both itching where to go. At a hot lazy afternoon with no plans of staying home we wandered. Wandered so much that we found ourselves 52.1 kilometers away from our home, in a little town at a humble country-side of Laguna.
Liliw is a small municipality between Nagcarlan and San Pablo; widely known for its shoe industry. Nested at the foot of Mt. Banahaw, the town has hilly steep roads with store after store of shoes parading on each sides, surely a good place to shoe shop. But I think the highlights of our trip was the lovely old brick church and a best kept Italian cafe which I totally can’t imagine we were exactly in the province.
Anyway the best way to enjoy the town is by walking, if you went by with a car then park it on a legit place of course. Oh. don’t forget to buy some meringue on your way home! 🙂
