Buon Giorno

Being finally back in Philippines for good has one of the best advantages, we can finally enjoy restaurants that we missed for the longest time. So after receiving lots of recommendations from friends, Buon Giorno was top of our list.

Located in a chic, private The Cliff House Tagaytay but accessible as it is along Gen. Aguinaldo Highway, Buon Giorno sure is a famous dining spot in the area. We arrived astonished in a very full-house setting at 9 in the evening and find ourselves 4th in waiting. Hubby almost would like to give it up because we are seriously hungry but when we got in and seated, we both realized  it was all worth.

Atmosphere: Chic, homey ambiance and has one the best views of  Taal volcano. What I specifically liked most is how the place turns out at dark, the lights and fresh air matching a deck view makes it all so romantic.  The interior is cozy, lights and wooden chairs make it looked like you are in a country-side manor.

Value: Was expecting the prices as fancy as the place was, but surprisingly not. Price ranges at 250 PHP and above, affordable and economical in a place decent as this.

Service: We liked how people was thoughtful when we were waiting to be seated up to filling-up the complimentary bread basket. They were courteous and polite too in taking our order. When we got in, the table was already cleaned and set for us to use. Serving the food was fast too, even when we billed- out.

Food: I find the food sumptuous and super tasty. Bruschetta, was fantastic that after first bite I totally forgot my name. One to die for food is their Seafood pizza, baked in thin crust with lots of cheese, pesto and my fave shrimps – totally flavorful. And our favorite the molten chocolate cake, super moist topped with yummy goodness ice cream. Definitely we’ll be coming back.

Verdict: ❤❤❤ – Definitely will come back!

Complimentary Bread best with Olive oil
Appetizer : Bruschetta
Seafood Pizza
My pick : Spaghetti Bolognese
Seafood Rissoto
Our pick : Molten Chocolate Cake

So next time you are in Tagaytay, take time to stop, dine in Buon Giorno and let me know how it goes.
