OOTD: Independence at Fujiazhuang Park

June 12, 2011 Sunday marked as Independence Day in the Philippines and as a way to commemorate such event far away from homeland, group of Filipinos here in Dalian organized a little get to together in the form of games and feast. Of course we got invited though hubby and I just know half of the attendees. But its a good way to mingle and share bond with other Pinoys, at least for once we got ourselves free from talking in English and our tangled Mandarin. The event was filled not only with Filipinos, but as well as with foreigners (Chinese, Russians & Americans) who gladly shared good laughs during the celebration. It’s one mixed culture. 🙂

opted colors in honor of our national flag but one thing was missing.. bright yellow! Not sure capiz earrings pulled the trick, it looks like a beige color to me.
